About the event
Junior WSDC is specifically designed to allow our younger debating talents to prosper in a friendly and inclusive competitive environment. Setting the stage to foster the love of debating for our future top debaters, JWSDC 2024 will be a unique learning opportunity for beginners to grow and collaborate. Composite teams are allowed, so bring a friend and take an early head start in your competitive journey!
Dates: 6 - 7 July 2024
Platform: Zoom and Discord
Judge Rule: N=0
Eligibility: Students aged 9 to 14 in 2024
Format: Shortened WSDC (3-5 speakers per team, 4 minute speeches & 2 minute replies)
Motions: All impromptu motions & 30 minutes' prep time
Categories: U10, U12 & U14
Team Observer: Each team is entitled to 2 free observer entrances. Any additional observers beyond this limit will need to purchase observer tickets
