We are not accepting new students for our debate classes at the moment.
The format of our debate classes will alternate every week. Details of the classes are below.
Lectures and Drills
Our classes cover a range of topical and skill-based modules. In topical modules, we uncover and explore current events, policy issues, and philosophical topics. In parallel, students learn and develop their core debate skills through lectures, drills, and extensive practice sessions, practising techniques like case-building, argumentation, rebuttals and debate strategy.
Sparring
The sparring class emphasises hands-on practice and simulated debates. Students put their skills to the test by taking on different debate motions through different positions, and receive personalised feedback on their case and their individual performance.
